Porthmeor Studios, st. Ives, Cornwall (March 2026):
This was a 2 week residency at the prestigious Porthmeor Studios. Alongside 4 other artists Meghan practiced in studio 9, creating a body of work, meeting resident artists, and putting on an open studio. Predominantly oil painting imagery of her childhood, she also explored wood carving, printing and sound. Sounds became a bridge between her childhood in the Caribbean and her current life in Cornwall. Focussing on local bird sounds of each locale, Cayman parrots became a symbol of unity, belonging and transition.
