About Me

Meghan is a 21 year old emerging artist exploring shifts in place and identity. Her childhood was split between the Cayman Islands and England, and she’s currently living and working in Cornwall. Each locale has become home in different ways, and Meghan questions those shifting physical and emotional distances.
Working from childhood photographs, she transforms memory into large-scale oil portraits, where washes of colour evoke place and fragmentation. This symbolises a rebellion against the distance between the adult and child self. She navigates adult nostalgia whilst revisiting childlike wonder. Inviting reflection on personal histories, archives, and questions where home exists when memory is unsettled.
On this site you can explore Meghan’s portfolio of work through her explorations of the climate crisis; home and belonging, and childhood. Take a peek at her prints, paintings and sculptural work, and keep up to date her upcoming shows and exhibitions from this site or my socials attached at the bottom!
